Hello. This 6.8 and 7.x. player doesn\'t work in my machine. My luck, that I have my old DivX Create bundle, so I can watch videos made by younger versions. Can\'t see why!

Excellent product! Simple and easy to use, but like a Ronseal product, does exactly what it says on the tin.

DivX does Not Work with Vista DivX does Not Work with Vista so I was unable to test any of the features.Looks good though, kind of like a Shiny Car with a blown engine.

You the man ! My brother has a Mac , I have a PC ....I could never play the stuff he sent me. I downloaded 3 other AVI players ...and they did not work. I finally download DivX and every file plays perfect ..great job !

Greatest software ever. The Divx player bundle if one of the besr software that I have use and I would recommend that you get a copy to.

Good bit of software DivX is a very good bit of software. My main reason for using it is to compress Mpeg videos into smaller compressed avi files. DivX does this very well giving you the option of three compression levels. One small note to make is it can take quite a bit of time to compress a large mpeg video of say two gigs, depending on your system of course. Best thing to do is to set it to compress last thing at night, get up in the morning and it's done!I don't use the movie player much, but I have viewed ...

Good mediaprogram, the only thing I couldn.t do was to convert an archicad animation into DivX or AVI.It is still a good program. with a stabil working effect

What happened? I couldn't find the 'Ace DivX Player', after the download and fearing that I had been the victim of a scam, used 'System Restore'.As you have now contacted me, I'm reassured, but still don't know the location of what I downloaded!

Profound Player I found this to be a truly remarkable player. Pretty light on system resources and plays a myriad of media formats.Keep up the good work.I highly recommend it.

Subtitles I can not load subtitles for divx so this player is not suitable for me. but it is very good player, easy to use. Recommended.

I bought 7.0.Is doesn't funtion on my Mac with program Eyetv.

6.7 is the version I need. I previously downloaded 7.0 and did a clean install, but it would not export using EyeTV. I read extensively on the net and found that 7.0 changes the player but not the codec. And this meant that the codec (I'm not sure which it was, possibly 6.4) would not work with EyeTV 3.1.1 (latest version). So I had to uninstall DivX 7.0. Then I had to look for an earlier version and re-install it. So all in all, it was a pain with this 'upgrade'. Perhaps I should have read the release notes & perhaps they included the warning. Why does the Divx logo come up in the player, to get rid of it i have to convert a AVI to Mpeg4 to edit it in Final Cut. How do i stop the logo from coming on in the bottom corner?

So far, so good! I have a number of videos in avi format and the player I was viewing them on seemed to interfere with the operation of other programs on my computer - causing me to have to restart after using it to "erase" the glitches. I downloaded this player to see if it might work better. So far, (I've only used it twice), it's working beautifully and doesn't appear to cause my system to slow down or produce glitches when I switch to other programs. Also very easy to use, and good picture on my computer screen. Thanks!

Divx player does not work. I can not get the player to work. I does not open and play movies when I open a movie, it just gives me the spinning kaleidoscope I have to use VLC to play the divx files I am using a PPC MAC with the latest OS I guess I wasted my money buying this software.

great program advancement its simply great for all to use and easy to operate for advanced or amateur user.

Great Program! I used Divx on my PC and absolutely loved it. I just purchased a MacBook and I was concerned about being able to find a program as comfortable as Divx. I was thrilled to find a Mac version and I am continually pleased with its performance.

GUI needs work GUI needs work, particularly with DIVXconverter. DIVX player is not quite as bad but could be made easier to use, particularly for older people with less that perfect eyesight.I use the converter to reprocess avi files I have downloaded from bitorrent sites. Sometimes the avi files don't work. I find that if I put them through converter, they always work perfectly then. It doesn't seem to have the audi sync problems that other coverters often have.
